Svea Bank invests SEK 20 million in Hybridity to advance AI-driven compliance to the financial sector

Swedish AI company Hybridity has secured a SEK 20 million investment from Svea Bank. Alongside the investment, the two companies enter a strategic partnership under which Svea Bank will deploy Hybridity's compliance execution platform across its regulatory work.

Svea Bank invests SEK 20 million in Hybridity to advance AI-driven compliance to the financial sector

Hybridity serves customers in highly regulated industries such as the financial sector. Founded in Stockholm in 2023 it offers an AI-native platform that enables advanced AI to perform the most resource-intensive compliance work. The platform converts a company's existing policies into running, evidenced and increasingly automated work. For Hybridity, the investment is a validation of the platform's fit with the regulatory demands facing banks and financial services in Europe today.

Banks operate under some of the most demanding regulatory requirements in Europe, and the cost of meeting the demands keeps rising. Svea Bank investing in Hybridity, and at the same time running its compliance on our platform, is exactly the kind of proof point we want: a regulated financial institution choosing AI to execute compliance rather than to talk about it, says Magnus Sahlgren, CEO of Hybridity.

The investment follows a SEK 22 million round in February 2026 backed by Henrik Ekelund (BTS Group), Hans Otterling, Jorgen Bladh (formerly Northzone) and the family office Fonos. The company is also backed by experienced tech investors including Noam Perski, Head of Europe at Palantir, Stefan Lennhammer, Chairman of the Board at Hybridity, and Simon Josefsson, former CTO at Yubico.

The funding will be used to further develop the platform and make it available to more customers in the market.
