Magnus Sahlgren appointed CEO of Hybridity

Magnus Sahlgren, Head of Research for Language Technologies (NLU) at AI Sweden and one of Europe's most established voices in artificial intelligence, joined Hybridity as CEO on February 1. The company streamlines regulatory compliance through advanced AI technology and sophisticated agent architectures.

Compliance has become one of the most resource-intensive areas in large organisations, costing European businesses over EUR 150 billion annually. With AI, we can move from manual checklists to intelligent processes that save significant time and resources, strengthen oversight, and reduce risk, says Magnus Sahlgren.

Magnus Sahlgren brings over 20 years of experience in AI research, language technology, and applied machine learning. In addition to his role at AI Sweden, he has served as an advisor to the European Commission on matters relating to compliance automation and cybersecurity, with a focus on how advanced AI can be used to meet regulatory requirements effectively and reliably.

Hybridity provides a platform for AI-driven compliance that automates workflows to reduce manual effort, free up time, and strengthen regulatory adherence. The platform is particularly suited for managing extensive and complex EU regulations, while also enabling organisations to consolidate and manage internal policies, guidelines, and governance documents within a single system.

Magnus combines deep technical expertise with clear business acumen. This makes him the right leader for the next phase, as Hybridity transitions from product development to broader market introduction and international growth. I am very pleased and proud to welcome Magnus to Hybridity. I am confident that together we have what it takes to make a real impact, says Stefan Lenhammar, Chairman of the Board at Hybridity.

With Magnus Sahlgren as the new CEO, the company strengthens its technical and strategic leadership at a time when demand for scalable compliance solutions is growing in response to new and more comprehensive EU regulations.
